You can change the projection method between Mercator, and EPSG:4326.

== Tagging Presets ==

[wiki:TaggingPresets Presets] allow you to select predefined tags for ways / nodes. From this area of the preferences menu you can choose which presets to use.

You can enable the default set of tagging presets.

If also / instead you wish to use your own presets then you should enter on this page the source for the preset file. The source can be a 

 - local file path (C:\Foo\Bar.xml)
 - URL (http://svn.openstreetmap.org/utils/josm/annotation_presets/presets.pre) or
 - resource path (e.g. resource://data/annotations.xml), in which case the file has to be included in an plugin loaded at JOSM startup.
