= Main menu > WMS =

This menu item is only available when the wmsplugin plugin has been installed. The wmsplugin allows you to use Metacarta's [http://labs.metacarta.com/rectifier/ Map Rectifier] to display warped WMS images as a background in the main window.  Note if you are using these images for editing then you need to ensure the image, and its method of rectification, are free of any copyright issues.
