== The Edit Toolbar ==

The buttons in the edit toolbar allow to choose different working modes for the map display. Each mode defines what results are caused by actions like clicking, dragging, selecting, ... on the map.

**Note**: Not all modes are visible in normal JOSM user mode, however you can always customize it to your needs (see below).
