= Tools > Update multipolygon =

This tool is used to add new inner rings to [wiki:Help/Concepts/Object#typemultipolygon multi-polygon] [wiki:Help/Concepts/Object#Relations relations].

== add a new inner ring ==

 1. Select a relation and new members that would form a multi-polygon
 2. activate a tool

A multi-polygon will be updated with a new inner ring. In example below we re-use [wiki:Help/Action/CreateMultipolygon#amultipolygonwithsingleouterringandsingleinnerring old relation].
