how can I change the color of (fresh painted) untagged ways?

A color change is useful, because in much areas on the african continent when I'm painting residential streets of cities, the color of the streets (bing sat) and the color of the new untagged ways are the same. There is no contrast, so it is very difficult to see which ways are already painted.

I tried several things with mapcss, but didnt found a solution.
