#8832 closed defect (invalid)

Export to GPX missing in main menu "file" / no short cut info in context menu

Reported by: skyper Owned by: skyper
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Core Version: tested
Keywords: export gpx menu shortcut Cc:

Description

I wonder if it was intentionally removed from main menu "file".

Anyway at least the shortcut should be added to quick info in the osm data layer context menu.

Wow, strange. Can you try with tested version to see if it's a recent regression ?
The shortcuts are not displayed neither on my PC in the context menu, I will look into it, but I find very strange that some entries do not appear in File menu o_O

The same. Did also test openjdk-7 but no differences. Did try it on a different machine but still no changes.

Are you sure to run JOSM in expert mode ? ... Those are the two only ones not displayed in beginner mode. Hem.

Concerning the missing shortcuts, this is not really a bug as the actions are not strictly the same objects, assigning to them the same shortcut as in File menu would only occur in a conflict, I don't think this is worth to redesign fundamentally those actions just to add a shortcut.

In 6039/josm:

see #8832 - Hide "export/convert to GPX" menu entries from contextual osm data layer in beginner mode to be consistent with File menu entries that are only displayed in expert mode

Damm, I am sorry, you are right. Sorry, need to update the wiki.

OK, forget about the shortcuts
