5956	Click buttons wished for adding predefined tags to selection	willis@…	team	"IMHO click buttons for adding predefined tags to the selected objects would be convenient and fast, especially when mapping many objects with the same tags from Bing Sat. Similar to the shortcut keys for commands.

Scenario 1, drawing residential highways of a village which may be short and straight: Draw a highway. Click the button: highway=residential, surface=concrete, source=Bing are added.

Scenario 2, add a bridge to a highway: Split the highway at the abutments. Click the button: bridge=yes, layer=1 and source=Bing are added.

No need to move the right hand away from the mouse. The left hand can press the few required shortcut keys.

I think such a feature is similar to the Surveyor plugin. The window with buttons stays always on top. Buttons and actions can be configured with an xml file. But instead of adding a node just the tags are added to the current selection. May be plugin Surveyor can be extended by something like ""AddTagsAction"".

Last but not least: OSM is great and fun and with JOSM even more. Each time I enjoy using its manifold and reliable features, almost daily. Many thanks to the developers.
