2. File > Save Session As...
3. Leave the data layer and background layers ticked, and leave ""Save all local files to disk"" ticked, then ""Save As""
4. When prompted by the system file browser name the file ""session.osm""
5. The saved file on disk is now named ""session.osm"" (but is actually a joz file / zip josm session)
6. Attempt to open the session.osm file in JOSM.
7. An error shows up ""could not read file, error is line 1 coloumn 1: Content is not allowed in prolog.

If I rename the file from session.osm to session.joz the file opens.

Either when doing save session as it should force .joz or append it to the choosen filename and/or opening a file should detect the filetype beyond the extension."	defect	new	normal		Core
