Happy Morning!

I am using JOSM 19307 version, while doing regular mapping i added landuse tag on a node, and JOSM throughs the validation error i.e., ""landuse construction on a node, should be drawn as an area""

But as per OSM wiki we can use landuse tag on a node as well as on polygon also ([https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:landuse])
