i can't open a osm file. I have all downloaded local, i have test with a small map (Baden-Württemberg) but it's not work, sorry it is shit. i try now one week to open with a opensource application a map, but noone runs.
I have a wokstation with 2x Quadcores 3,2 GHz and 12 GB Ram with 64 Bit Debian Lenny :-( 
I have Java 1,6 installed.
