wrong "you should update" message

using latest version r10929 JOSM wrongly displays "you should update" at the startup page.

Just tried it and got: "You are using version '10929' of JOSM. The current stable snapshot is 10786 and 10929 is the unstable development version.", no update message.

There is something wrong with the detection of the version. See screenshot.
This is version 10929 but it says that it is version 10399 (which probably in the end creates the "you should update" message)

The statusreport and the about window are correct, only the startup page is a bit drunken ;)

Sounds like a cache problem with JNLP

I remember that today I once launched josm-snapshot-10399.jar to test #13512 on an old version. This was (3 hours) before I created this ticket here.

...and I think I had both josm-snapshot-10399.jar and josm-latest.jnlp open at the same time.

Of course I closed all JOSM instances and launched josm-latest.jnlp again and the error is still there.

The startup page is cached in .josm/cache (for a day or so). Thus, when launching various versions at the same time, any version will be cached and shown in other versions ..
