Ако вие създадете добавка и искате JOSM да я намери, достатъчно е да я добавите към OpenStreetMap SVN и добавката автоматично ще се появи на тази страница. If you cannot put your plugin into SVN then edit this page and insert a link to your plugin jar file into the comment section at the beginning of the page; after a few minutes your plugin will be downloaded and the MANIFEST file will be used to extract information for the table below.

Автоматична инсталация
Отидете на Edit-preferences-Plugins. Кликнете "Download List" последвано от "Update". Накрая, разрешете всички добавки, които искате да инсталирате.
Ръчна инсталация
В случай, че автоматичното инсталиране не сработи, можете да инсталирате добавките ръчно, като копирате файловете с разширение .jar files в папката plugins на JOSM.
- Under Windows, this is in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\JOSM\plugins.
- Under Vista, the plugins are located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\JOSM\plugins.
- On a Mac or Linux you will find the JOSM directory in the user directory /Users/username/.josm/plugins. The point "." in front of ".josm" indicates that this folder is invisible. To show the contents of this hidden folder, use the Finders Go to folder menu command (cmd-shift-G), and enter "~/.josm" in the dialog that pops up. Drag any plugins you'd like to install into the plugins folder. (You can also copy the plugin files using the command line.)
