Warning when sending changes with several data layers opened

Hello,
I'm no adept of warning dialogs, I'm quite old with JOSM, but this mistake I still do much to often.
When working with several data layers ("calques" in French), merging the data from one to the "main" one, in order to send the main to the server, I regularly send the working layer instead of the main.
I would welcome a warning dialog saying something like "you have several data layer, are you sure you want to send 'work.osm' rather than 'Calque de données 1'?".
Does this seem sensible?
