Description

On the main website (josm.openstreetmap.de) the claim is made that JOSM is "written in ​Java 1.6.".

There is no Java 1.6. After Java 1.4 came Java 5.0, then Java 6.

Looking at the source code it's obvious that JOSM is written in Java 6.

We (Java programmers at a large corp.) used to have much fun at the expense of a C# programmer that did not know this. He would try to impress upon us C#'s superiority over Java by saying "C# is Java 2.0!".

We'd all nod and try to keep from snickering.
