#7215 closed enhancement (fixed)

[PATCH] integrate link to osm.mapki.com history service

Reported by: Cobra Owned by: team

Description

especially for cleaning up ODbL/CT issues I think the history service at osm.mapki.com is quite helpful for quickly finding out which properties of an object are tainted.

I've hacked a new action based upon HistoryInfoWebAction for opening the browser with the history view for the selected object.

This is just a quick and dirty patch, todo:

  • make url configureable and not hardcoded
  • assign a different shortcut

You can add it to Utilsplugin2 Custom URL list (F12-Utilsplugin2 prefrences) or to tag2link plugin or to separate plugin. You see, there are many useful URL to include every as a shortcut :)

Replying to akks:

You can add it to ... tag2link plugin ...

It is not yet true, I have to add this feature in tag2link :)

But yes, I don't think this is something to be integrated into core.

I have added osm.mapki.com in the default list of URLs in Utilsplugin2, it works on Shift-/ shortcut.

That shortcut is a poor choice - it's quite inaccessible on many keyboard layouts. It doesn't work with the german layout, some others are affected as well. I've changed this to ctrl-alt-h for me.

I did not know it, moved to Shift-H in [o27422] (it seems to be free in all plugins, strangely)
