Please do not render closed ways with piste:type=* as areas as long as there is no area=yes set.

Validator complains about a piste:type=downhill as a unclosed way.

  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

The warning is due to sport=skiing, which is not allowed on unclosed ways (cf. ​https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:sport=skiing). When this tag is removed, no warning is shown. Therefore I consider this ticket as invalid.
