#6459 closed defect (fixed)

When using "UnGlue Ways" (g), new node shouldn't retain author info of original node

Reported by: rickmastfan67 Owned by: team
Priority: normal Component: Core
Version: latest Keywords:
Cc:

Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download any two connected that have a common node in both ways. (Example: Download ways 16789449 & 111991527)
  2. Select one of the ways and the "common" node. (or just select the common node directly, doesn't matter as this happens either way)
  3. Hit "g" to UnGlue the way/node from the other.

What happens?
The new node contains the author info of the last person to edit the original node.

Expected results:
The "new" node shouldn't have any author info till after being uploaded to the OSM database.

This is happening on r4135.
