Show grid of tiles for tiles@home or other renders

For generating and uploading specific tiles for tiles@home, it could be useful to display a grid in JOSM showing the tiles names (X,Y) to generate. A default fixed zoom of 12 in the grid is appropiate, though linking the JOSM zoom to tiles@home zoom would be desirable.

There is apparently an plugin in osm-svn named "grid". But it doesn't compile for me, complaining about some missing class "Helmert".

The plugin "slippy map" will shows the tile boundarys for level 12 (and can do much more).
