User panel not showing data when toggled from hidden to shown

Description

When I select some elements and then open the "Authors" panel (List off people working on selected objects) that was previously hidden, it does not show list of people, I have to change the selection once the panel is visible first to see something.

Also, if I select some elements, then hide the panel, then select some other elements and show the panel again, the panel is still showing data for the old selection.

I think contents of the panel needs to be updated when the panel is shown.
