problems by show highway=platform - depend on shelter

there are some problems by show the right icon for highway=platform when the shelter-tag is in use.

is shelter= yes or no the the color is red or blue. but sometimes the icon does not change - so will white show.

even when a highway=platform & shelter=yes will copy the new icon will show white.

can you add a screenshot of the problem? I don't get an icon for these tags and i cannot find anything related in the default style.

No, I have the same problem without any changes in presets, rendering public_transport= stop_position/platform. I do not understand it right, because it is not consistant. Sometimes it works sometimes not, especially with new created objects it does not, and yes it has to do with the "side tags". Soemtimes it is shelter, sometimes it is bus/tram. Sorry, I can not include a screenshot, but I try to upload one later.

No, I do not have the same problem, I have problems rendering public_transport=stop_position. Open a new ticket. (-> #4643)

shelter is not handled in JOSM internal presets at all, so this report must be relative to user defined presets. Probably priority settings are wrong for this one.
