Data download dialog box breaks if not in focus

Description

If you set JOSM to download some data or upload data and then switch to another virtual desktop, then if you switch back and the download/upload has already finished then the dialog box is blank and you can't close it. If you click on the main JOSM window then the dialog box goes away but JOSM doesn't receive keyboard events any more, but the mouse still works.
