Running JOSM v 2717, on Ubuntu Karmic

While uploading, frequently JOSM is creashing, with the following error...

The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.

(Details: serial 192055 error_code 8 request_code 140 minor_code 4)

This is a Ubuntu problem, there is nothing we can do about it. (Google it and you will see a lot of complaints that the users cannot start Vuze, eclipse and other java applications)

If you use openjdk you could try sun java and vice versa.

i can start all java application..
But JOSM crashed:)
