Yahoo! WMS produces red error tiles

Description

I get red tiles with an "error" on them when I choose Yahoo! WMS. NPE Maps produces grey tiles with nothing on them. Landsat and OpenAerial work as expected. This is JOSM 1567.

Red tiles say that something is wrong. Very likely your data downloading programm is not installed correctly. There are descriptions on the OSM wiki how to install WMS plugin properly.
