#208 closed defect (wontfix)
Not a defect, a productivity improvement

Description
I find that the move object icon (four arrows radiating out from a central point in the four cardinal directions) is too bulky for moving objects precisely onto a GPS point. The current icon from a design standpoint makes sense, it truly looks like a "move object" icon, but I feel something like a standard arrow would obscure less of the screen and allow me to more precisely place my moved feature.

you can move the mouse a bit aside and look at the moved objects (e.g. nodes) to position the objects on screen.
If you can't live with the cursor, you can change your operating system's move cursor to something non intrusive.
