What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. When I was downloading some data I got this message: ResponseCode 503 Service Unavailable


  1. Can this be transform to a more user friendly message?

User friendly message.

What happens instead?

Not user friendly message.

It is a seldom error message and the text may contain valuable information. Don't know if we want to add special handling for that.

We could display the message as html

That would be a possibility. If an error message is marked as html content type and starts with a "<", then display it as html.
