#15575 closed defect (fixed)

Validator falsely reports warning "unclosed way - natural type gully"

Reported by: Sidapo Owned by: team
Priority: normal Milestone: 17.11
Component: Core validator Version: tested
Keywords: template_report Cc:

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. create an open way
  2. tag it with "natural=gully"
  3. run the intergrated JOSM validator

What is the expected result?

There should be no warning message

What happens instead?

The validator reports a warning message: "unclosed way - natural type gully"

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Gullys can only be tagged as open ways (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:natural%3Dgully), thus this warning message is not correct
