clicking notes doesn't work properly anymore

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. download osm data and notes
2. (data layer is the active one and notes layer above)
3. click on different notes in the mapview

What is the expected result?

notes text appears

What happens instead?

notes text mostly appears only after moving the map
