Description (last modified by Klumbumbus)

Hello, there.

Lavoirs are amenities, often in an open building for people with clothes to wash; at least in Europe, they are only of historical interest, but, in other parts of the world, they are real amenities, still in use for washing clothes. They also often have a fountain, and possibly drinking water. It could be very useful to have a preset for amenity=lavoir to help mapping them.

Regards.

Looking at http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/p65 it turns out that estimated 95% of these objects are in France and most of them were imported. There are only some single objects in other countries and two hotspots in Italy. So there is no need for a preset for this tag for many mappers. So I think this tag is not suitable for the default internal preset. See DevelopersGuide/DefaultPresets. It would better fit e.g. into Presets/NewTags.

Well, I didn't know about these presets, but, indeed, that should fit there.
