Pasting tags onto way causes error

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Create a way
2. Copy tags from another way/area
3. Paste tags with Shift+Ctrl+V

What is the expected result?

Way gets copied tags

What happens instead?

JOSM throws an error

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Created a self-intersecting parking aisle (way 476736703) and tried to paste copied tags (highway=service, service=parking_aisle) to it. Works just fine if I add the tags manually. The same tags can also be pasted to other self-intersecting ways with no problems.

This also happened again later with a parking lot (way 476736694) in the same part of the map.
