Can the button that adds Wikipedia tag, add the wikidata tag as well?

I just tried adding a Wikipedia tag to an object, could it be changed to immediately add the Wikidata tag as well?

I already added this feature yesterday, w/o re-compliling the plugin [o31917]. I've also done the latter now [o31920].

What also might be interesting is to query Wikidata when the wikipedia tag is entered via the normal properties dialog …

It would indeed be handy if it worked too, when the wikipedia tag is added in other ways.

To add wikidata tags and urls of home websites, what I often do, is copy the name in the clipboard, then search for it on Google. I guess thát's also rather something for the tag2link plugin?

There are also Wikidata items that don't have wikipedia pages, but they might have coordinates... it would be great if we could flush these out as well.
