Description
the process of adding several ways to a route relations sometimes get unnecessarily repetitive as ways between two crossings has to be selected individually. said "edge" a group of ways which are connected with each other and are not split by any crossing, a cool new map mode could allow the user to select an edge with a single click.

when near crossing, instead of just stop looking, the plugin could try making a decision based on the current relation the mapper is working on. for example giving priority to service ways and respecting the one way rules. it would be really handy a method from the core which returns me the last focused relation editor or at least the list of the currently open ones. there is the RelationDialogManager which is doing this but no public methods are provided that can help. is there any way to do this?
